Mill Pond Estate Elopement Checklist

Because even lovebirds need a little planning magic.

1. Choose Your Elopement Package
Decide between ceremony-only, ceremony + charcuterie, or our more elevated all-inclusive experience — each is tailored for intimate moments and thoughtful celebrations.

2. Pick Your Date & Time (Weekday Vibes Only!)
Elopement packages are primarily available Monday through Thursday, giving you prime peace and privacy.

3. Legal Love Paperwork
Apply for your Florida marriage license ahead of time — don’t let red tape rain on your parade! (Trust us, officiants love when this is done early.) 💌

4. Guest List (Keep It Cozy)
Mill Pond Estate’s elopements allow up to 15 guests — small enough for hugs all around, big enough for cheers and tears.

5. Book Your Photographer
We include photos in some packages, but you might want an extended session to capture every golden hour moment around the pond, beneath the oaks, and through the flower paths.

6. Say “I Do” in Your Favorite Spot
Choose your scenic backdrop — maybe the Flower Garden, the Lily Pond, or under the mossy Broken Oak — all gorgeous for tiny ceremonies and dreamy portraits.

7. Wardrobe & Accessories
Whether you’re going timeless classic or boho chic, make sure your outfit fits the Florida sunshine and breeze — plus your shoes are outdoor-friendly for grass, paths, and meadow photos.

8. Elopement Essentials Pack

  • Rings (obvious, but worth listing 🥂)

  • Vows (typed or handwritten)

  • Florals or boutonnière (we offer options!)

  • A small toast + snack moment, especially if you’re doing charcuterie
We promise: a bouquet looks great, but a mezze board helps too.

9. Weather & Comfort Prep
Check the forecast — and bring a cute wrap or umbrella just in case. Temperate Tampa sunsets are worth it, but Florida skies like a dramatic entrance now and then.

10. Post-Ceremony Plans
Plan a mini celebration with your favorite playlist, a private reception, or a cozy dinner spot after your ceremony. Intimacy isn’t just a moment — it’s a mood.
